There are many distinctive towns in Britain that many people have never been to. In these small towns, people can always experience some amazing or warm stories.

You can follow a cobblestone road directly to the sea in Clovelly. It is on the edge of the cliff. There is no traffic, only donkeys and sleds are used for transportation. Therefore, when you drive there, you can only park your car elsewhere and walk into the village.

The cobblestone streets of the village extend down to the ancient fishing port and wharf. Any photo taken is like a postcard.

Haworth is widely known for the Bronte sisters, who created classic works such as Wuthering Heights and ‘Jane Eyre’ in this village. The village is surrounded by wilderness and rolling hills.

Here is Bronte Waterfall. It is like a narrow stream. You can have a picnic with your friends. Then take a photo with the chair shaped like a stone which is named after Charlotte Bronte.

The main street of the village is lined with antique shop which selling handmade perfume, various sweets and clothes.

Helmsley is the only town in the York Marshes National Park, and medieval buildings are preserved.

Helmsley is a perfect destination for pedestrians and cyclists. Walk in the town or sit in the garden to enjoy the flowers, you may feel the time goes back.

Culross

Founded in the 6th century, Culross Royal Castle is located on the coast of Firth of Forth. Culross is one of the best preserved historical villages in Scotland. The cobblestone street is flanked by houses with red roof and white wall. The colors match so well.

Portmeirion

The colorful town is located on the coastline of Wales. The houses in the small town are with an Italianate feel. With the blue coastline, it is full of vibrant scenes.

Bibury

The medieval town built in 1380 still shines with unique brilliance. The Arlington townhouses in the village are the most eye-catching postcards.

Polperro, Cornwall

It has a very romantic rock coastline. The narrow streets are scattered with ancient fishermen's houses. You must have a good meal in the seafood restaurants here, and then explore the spectacular coastline along the path.

The town is beautiful and really looks like a primeval forest. The small houses are exquisite and unique, like the house of seven dwarfs.
